Next-Gen Fundraising for NGOs

SharedLink provides an innovative system that allows anyone to support their favorite organizations using cryptocurrencies in the fastest, most secure, and easiest way possible, via several different fundraising methodologies and yield optimization strategies.

Next-Gen Exposure
For the first time, NGOs have access to an additional tool to gain funds for their humanitarian missions, getting exposure to a way broader audience.
Next-Gen supporting
Supporters who can’t afford to send funds via a specific donation can still contribute to the organization while growing their capital: something that would never be possible using legacy systems and FIAT currency.
Why Cardano?

Check the advantages that Cardano shows in comparison with the other blockchains:

Developed with quality in mind
While some projects are rushing to deploy an incomplete or faulty system in trying to maximize income, Cardano aims to build its components in the best possible way, without ever compromising security and stability.
Scientific approach
Instead of having a generic White Paper which describes the project, it is the first completely peer-reviewed blockchain in the world, built around research papers by academics and scientists from universities across the globe.
Eco-Friendly
One of the main concerns about legacy blockchains is the high amount of electricity required by Proof-of-Work projects such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Cardano, with its secure Proof-of-Stake mechanism, consumes 99% less electricity than either of these blockchains.
Cheap transaction fees
The average cost of a transaction on Cardano costs less than 0.2 ADA, which equates to a couple of cents. In comparison, “gas fees” on Ethereum can go up to hundreds of dollars, due to the vast congestion and the difference in the efficiency of Proof-of-Work.
Fast Transactions
Cardano is created to be highly scalable. It is already several times faster than Ethereum, and with the deployment of Hydra, a native Layer-2 solution that will go live later in 2022, it will reach unbelievable performances, up to millions of transactions per second.
Locking-Free Passive Income
Every Cardano holder has the opportunity to gain passive income simply by staking their ADA coins, gaining ~4.5% YOY compounded interest rate. Stacked funds never leave the owner’s wallet, and are always available, without the need for “unstaking” or “unlocking” procedures.
Features

How does SharedLink work?

NGOs can apply to join SharedLink using the provided form and including any relevant information.

Request Access

About
1 - Voting
Once the request is received, the members of our community will vote in favor of the inclusion of the applicant NGO. The votes are weighted according to the amount of owned governance tokens ($SHLNK).
2 - Deployment
Once the application is accepted, SharedLink will take care of deploying and managing the necessary infrastructure for having a new, dedicated stake-pool on the Cardano blockchain for the applicant NGO.
3 - Fundraising Portal
Supporters have now access to a dedicated fundraising portal for the NGO, that can be easily customized by any operator who owns a dedicated Access-NFT (originally transferred to the NGO's wallet).
4 - Fundraising tools
Along with the orignal, simple wallet-to-wallet donations, we will provide several different fundraising tools in a single place for the benefit of the member NGOs, that can be configured from the portal.
5 - Staking Rewards
A new wallet, created by the NGO and configured to stake to this new pool for the usual ~4.5% year-over-year compounded interest rate that is earned by staking on the Cardano blockchain, will collect all the funds.
6 - SPO rewards
All the Stake-Pool Operator Rewards, minus a minimal fee for covering the required costs, will be transferred to the NGO’s wallet, drastically improving the compounded amount of collected funds.
